He walked beside me on the street
Nonchalant strut to perfect beat
He's one of you, he's just like me
I guess that's true to some degree
I saw him on TV today
He had a message to convey
With the gun within his hand
He ruled the Earth, he ruled the land
Bullets rained and blood did pour
Bodies tumbled by the shore
The tower crumbled, the crown did flame
White skin brown skin all the same
The sun did rise and twice it set
We won't forgive, we won't forget
A generation has been born
We're not alone, we're not forlorn
The blaze is now within our heart
For those who died, who did their part
We have a message to convey
It shall be heard, and you shall pay

I hope this ends for your country soon. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

So sorry to hear what happened to your country, city. I pray healing occurs.
I agree to Shesturningblue.. everytime I look at the picture of this guy... it makes my blood curdle. And powerful lines. Peace.
Thank you for your poem. It is hard to put such thoughts and feelings into words.
I agree with shesturningblue & arvindyer. That picture makes me want to do horrible things to him.
